Mac & Cheese with a little umph!

4 cups uncooked macaroni, cooked and drained.
(Note: I do not prefer pasta al Dante, so cook a little longer than suggested)

24 ozs. Velveeta cheese product
3/4 cup whipping cream
1 stick salted butter

Melt the cheese, cream, and butter in a saucepan, or you can microwave. Stir frequently to keep it creamy and prevent scorching. Pour over the cooked macaroni, blend well, then add:

1/2 pound browned maple sausage

This can be a side dish or a main dish as you like.
