  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sift dry ingredients into 8X8\" pan. Make 2 depressions in the dry ingredients. 1 for each: oil, vinegar and vanilla. Pour water over all and mix thoroughly with a fork to moisten all ingredients.

Bake 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
