Serves 6

4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 onion, chopped
26 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 oz pkg beefy onion soup mix

Arrange potatoes in the bottom on a lightly greased 13x9 baking pan. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion; form into 6 patties. Place patties on top of potato slices. Combine soup and dry soup mix; blend well. Pour over patties and potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
