1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp butter, softened and divided
3/4 cup milk
3 eggs, divided
16 oz container cottage cheese
1 Tbsp sour cream
1/2 tsp salt

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and 1/2 cup butter in a medium bowl. Mix well; stir in milk and 2 eggs. Set aside. Stir together cottage cheese, sour cream, salt, remaining butter and egg in a separate bowl; set aside. Spoon half the flour mixture into a lightly greased 9x9 inch baking pan; top with cottage cheese mixture, then with remaining flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until puffy and golden. Let cool slightly; cut into squares.
