Yields 1 pie, serves 8

1 Prebaked pie shell
1/4 cup water
2 pints of fresh blueberries
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp butter
1 tsp fresh orange juice

Place 1 pint of the blueberries into the pie crust.
In a medium saucepan combine the water, remaining berries, cornstarch, sugar, orange juice and salt.
Heat over medium heat until nicely thickened (about 8 minutes), stir in butter and pour hot mixture over fresh berries in crust.
Cool completely and serve with fresh whipped cream.
