Serves/Makes: 16
Ready in: < 30 minutes
- 2 packages (8 ounce size) softened cream cheese
- 1/4 pound peeled salad shrimp
- 1 jar cocktail sauce
- crackers
Shape the cream cheese into an oval, creating a "brain" shape by creating shallow grooves in the cheese using your fingers. Place the cream cheese brain on a platter. Combine the shrimp and cocktail sauce. Pour the sauce over the top of the cream cheese. Place the crackers around the brain on the platter. Cook's Notes: For added effect take a toothpick dipped into food coloring (blue and/or green) and make veins in the cream cheese brain to look like a real brain.
