- 1/2 pound ground turkey or beef
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 can (16 ounce size) refried beans
- 1 cup chicken or beef broth
- 2/3 cup picante sauce
***Additional toppings***
- sour cream
- sliced green onions
- chopped tomato
- sliced ripe olives
- shredded Cheddar or Monterey-Jack cheese
- tortilla chips
Brown meat in large saucepan; drain. Sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Add beans, broth, and picante sauce; bring to a boil; stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle into shallow bowls; top as desired. Serve with additional picante sauce.
