Serves/Makes: 16
Ready in: 1-2 hrs
- 1 package bread machine yeast
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons softened butter
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Combine all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in the bread machine as directed by the machine manufacturer. Select white bread, light crust. If the machine has a notification to add nuts or other add-ins, add the chocolate chips then. Otherwise add them before the final knead cycle. When the bread has baked, remove the pan from the machine and let the pan cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan and let the bread cool completely on the wire rack. Store the bread in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature, or freeze for up to 2 months.
