- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Blend together shortening, sugar and egg. Combine sifted and blended ingredients. Add 1 cup of milk. Add berries of choice. Pour into 12 cup muffin tin. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes.
