Sausage Gravy

served good with my biscuits


1 pkg bulk breakfast sausage or ground pork
1/4 c. bisquik
2 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Brown sausage or pork in large skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently to break up the sausage.

Cook until no longer pink in color.
Drain off most but not all grease.
Sprinkle the bisquik over the sausage.
Stir to blend
Gradually stir in the 2 1/4 cups milk until the well is blended
Cook about 5 minutes, stirring to get your preference of thickness. Stir in salt and peper,....serve over biscuits.
