sweet and sour sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar
3 TBLS cornstarch
1 can pineapple {20 ounces}
3 TBLS vinegar
2 TBLS soy sauce
2 TBLS KETCHUP

mix brown sugar,cornstarch in saucepan.
add enough water to pineapple {or use juice}
take make 2 1/4cup.
Stir in juice &water , vinegar,ketchup,
soy sauce,into pan. Cook all together,
over med heat, stir constantly,until mixture,
thickens boils,simmer 5 minutes.
