Serves/Makes: 4 cups
Ready in: > 5 hrs

  • 2 lemons
  • 1 pint vodka
  • 2 cups orange flower water
  • 3/4 cup fresh lavender buds
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon balm
  • 1/4 cup fresh rosemary

Carefully zest the lemons with a knife, vegetable peeler, or zester. Take care not to get any of the white pith on the peel.

Combine the zest with the vodka, orange water, lavender, lemon balm, and rosemary in a glass jar with a lid. Cover the jar with the lid and let the mixture sit for 1 week.

Strain the vodka through several layers of cheesecloth into a clean glass bottle. Cover tightly and keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Use whenever you want a refreshing splash of fragrance.

If using dried herbs, use half the amounts listed.
