  • 3 1/2 pounds beef roast (sirloin tip, round, or boneless chuck)
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can (12 ounce size) coca-cola

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

Place the roast in a baking dish. Sprinkle the onion soup evenly over the meat. Slowly pour the cola over the top.

Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil. Place the roast in the oven and bake at 300 degrees F for 3-4 hours or until tender.
