BROILED BEEF LIVER & ONIONS

1-2 pounds sliced liver
3 medium onions, sliced
seasoning salt to taste
black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
2 Tablespoons butter
Saute onions in butter and set aside. Sprinkle seasoning salt, black pepper & garlic powder on liver and place it on a broiler pan and broil until just done, should be light pink inside. It will take approximately 4-5 minutes per side. (The time will depend on the thickness of the liver.Be sure not to overcook as liver drys out quickly) As soon as you remove liver from the oven, pile cooked onions on top. Serve immediately.
