SCALLOPED POTATOES & HAM

4-6 potatoes, sliced in rounds
1 medium onion, sliced in rounds
left-over ham, cubed or sliced
salt & pepper to taste
3 Tablespoons butter
3 Tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cup milk
Parboil potatoes & onions, drain. Place a layer of potatoes and onion in a buttered bakingdish. Then place a layer of ham over the potatoes. Then add another layer of potatoes and onions.
In a saucepan, melt butter and add in flour to make a paste. Add a little milk at the time into the paste until you have a medium thick sauce, be sure to stir as it thickens. Pour over potatoes & ham & bake until done about 30 minutes, in a 350 degree oven. (Can top with cheese)
