Bright Eye Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg yolk
chopped walnuts

In a large bowl combine butter and sugar; beat with a wooden spoon until creamy. Add egg yolk, water and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Slightly beat 1 egg white until foamy. Form cookies into walnut size balls and roll in the egg white first then roll cookies through the walnuts. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
Remove cookies to a wire rack.
