cooked, cubed chicken breast
celery, sliced on the diagonal
finely chopped onion
slices of fresh, ripe pear
walnuts, toasted in a skillet with a little
olive oil
romaine, chopped in bite-size pieces

dressing:
two parts peanut oil
two parts sugar
one part soy sauce
few drops of sesame oil

Mix the dressing well, pour over the salad ingredients, and toss. Make the dressing right before serving; it looses flavor if prepared too far ahead of time.
