Tomato Vinaigrette - great with Salmon

1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
salt
1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp drained capers
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar1/2 tsp cumin
2 Tbsp canola oil
1 Tbsp minced parsley
1 Tbsp chopped basil
2 Tbsp olive oil

In a bowl, toss the tomatoes with 1/2 tsp salt and the shallot, capers and vinegar.
Place a skillet over moderate heat and add the tomato mixture along with the cumin, canola oil and the olive oil. Cook until tomatoes just soften, about 2 minutes. Pour over Salmon, sprinkle with the parsley and basil and serve right away.
