Emerald Isle Creamy Horseradish Dressing

3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup scallions (green onions), chopped
3 Tbsp fresh basil
1 Tbsp fresh parsley
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp bottled horseradish
salt and perpper to taste

In a bldnder or food processor combine buttermilk, mayonnaise, scallions, basil, parsley, lemon juice and horseradish. Blend well until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste, process briefly to blend flavors.
Serve on salad or fresh mixed greens.
