1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
Cream butter and sugar; add egg and vanilla. Stir in the dry ingredients. Can be used with a cookie press or roll dough into small balls and press with glass bottom.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or until golden.
