Slow Cooker Beans and Ham

12 ounces dried beans
5 cups water
2 cups ham, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup carrots, minced finely
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 teaspoons beef soup base or bouillon
1 teaspoon chicken soup base or bouillon
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 pinch dill weed
1 pinch caraway seeds
1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions
Soak beans overnight or boil on stovetop for 10 minutes prior to adding them to the slow cooker.

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 8 hours or until beans are tender.
Serves 3.
