Spicy Beer Chili

Category: Chilis

Ingredients
2 onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup oil
2 pounds ground beef
3/4 cup dark beer
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 can (29-ounce) crushed tomatoes
3 pounds canned red kidney beans
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Heat oil.

Add onions and garlic.

Saute until transparent.

Add the beef a little at a time and brown.

Add beer.

Sprinkle in seasonings.

Add crushed tomatoes and drained kidney beans.

Bring to a simmer. Let simmer for 2-3 hours.

Correct seasoning to taste.
.serves 4.
