Shrimp a la Buttery

1/3 cup butter
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon onion or chives, chopped
2 teaspoons brandy (optional)
dash of cloves, nutmeg
20 medium shrimp, cooked
8 medium mushrooms, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, sliced into 8 wedges
1/2 green pepper cut in thin strips
1 teaspoon flour
1 tablespoon dry vermouth

In a large skillet, melt butter. Add parsley, onion, pepper, brandy and spices. Stir well. Add the shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes. Saute over medium heat. Add flour to skilletand stir; add vermouth. Reduce heat and cook until sauce thickens.
Serve over rice or linguine.
