Yummy Bars

1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup melted oleo
2/3 cup evaporated milk, divided
6 oz chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (pecans, walnuts)
50 caramels (1 bag of wrapped)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix cake mix with 3/4 cup melted oleo and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread half of it into a 9x13x2-inch greased baking pan.
Bake for 6 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium microwave-safe bowl, place the unwrapped caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Melt this mixture in a microwave until it able to pour, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Stir very well.
Take the cake out of oven; sprinkle the chocolate chips and nuts over the baked cake. Drizzle the melted caramel over the chips and nuts. Drop the remaining half of cake mix on top of the caramel and bake 20 minutes. Cut when partially cool.
