Avocado Shrimp Cocktail

marinade
24 cooked, shelled jumbo shrimp
3 Tablespoons lime juice
3 Tablespoons chopped fresh dill
2 teaspoons minced garlic
avocado mixture
1 ripe avocado
1/3 Cup chili sauce
1 Tablespoon lime juice
2 Tablespoons chopped jalapeno pepper
without seeds
1 Tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
dash salt and pepper
red or green leaf lettuce - thinly sliced
In a large bowl, mix the three marinade ingredients. Place the shrimp in the marinade and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, mash the avocado and add the remaining ingredients.
Fill four chilled martini-type glasses 2/3
full ith thinly sliced lettuce. Arrange six shrimp on the rim of each glass.
Add 2-3 Tablespoons of the avocado mixture in the center of each glass.
Chill.
