Cranberry Pork Roast

2 1/2 to 3 pounds boneless rolled pork roast
1 (16-ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Salt, to taste

Instructions:

Place roast in slow cooker. Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, juice, mustard and cloves. Pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove roast and keep warm. Skim fat from juices. Measure 2 cups of juices. Add water if necessary. Bring to boil in saucepan over medium heat. Combine cornstarch and cold water to make a paste. Stir into juices. Cool till thickened. Season with salt to taste. Serve with sliced pork roast.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
