Shrimp with Ginger Sauce

3/4 cup apricot preserves
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 pound peeled and deveined large shrimp
(about 16)
In a small saucepan, cook the preserves, ginger, and kosher salt over medium heat, stirring, until melted, about 2 minutes. Place the shrimp on a rimmed baking sheet, drizzle with 3 Tbsp of the apricot sauce, and season with 1/4 tsp salt and black pepper. Broil until browned in spots and opaque through-out, 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with the remaining sauce.
