Spiced Cranberry-Port Sauce

1 medium naval orange
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
1/3 cup port wine
From orange, grate 2 tsp. peel and squeeze about 1/2 cup juice.  In large saucepan, combinepeel and juice with cinnamon sticks, sugar, water and cloves; heat to boiling over medium heat.  Boil 5 minutes.
Stir in cranberries.  Heat to boiling, cook 4 to 5 minutes or until most cranberries burst, stirring occasionally.  Remove saucepan from heat; stir in Port.  Refrigerate at least 3 hours; sauce will thicken as it cools.  Discard cinnamon sticks before serving.
