Beef Teriyaki

3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp dry sherry
2 Tsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground ginger
3/4 pound flank steak strips
1 Tbsp oil
3 cups bite-size vegetables (red peppers,
green peppers, broccoli, snow peas, green
onions, water chestnuts, asparagus,
carrots)
1 cup beef broth
4 tsp cornstarch
1 1/2 cups minute rice
Mix soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar and seasonings. Add beef; let stand for 10 minutes to marinate.
Stir fry beef in hot oil in skillet until browned. Add vegetbles; stir fry until tender-crisp. Mix broth and cornstarch; add to skillet. Bring to boil for 1 minute.
Prepare rice as directed on package. Serve beef over rice.
