Greek Feta and Dill Spread

salty and pungent with feta cheese, this dip
is best with sweet dippers such as red bell pepper strips, carrot sticks or bread. Or use as a sandwich spread.

1 1/2 cups (8 oz) feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh dill
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

Combine feta, yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, dill and pepper in a blender or a food processor; puree until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a bowl and serve as a spread or a dip.

makes 2 1/2 cups
