Oyster Stuffing

1 1/2 pints oysters
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp onion, chopped
2 1/2 qts bread crumbs
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/8 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp salt

cook oysters in butter until edges curl; remove oysters. Add parsley and onion to butter and cook until onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients and oysters. Mix lightly. Ready to stuff turkey or bake in greased baking dish -at- 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
