Spritz Cookies from Mom

1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 t. baking powder
dash salt
1 t. almond extract
Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add unbeaten eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients and extract and mix well.
Using spritz cookie press make 5 dozen and bake at 400 10- 12 minutes
