1 qt. strawberries, halved
1/4 c. sugar
3 T. balsamic vinegar
1/4 t. black pepper
4. c. strawberry ice cream
Mix all other ingredients and let stand 1 hour or overnight. Divide ice cream into 4 bowls. Serve sauce over ice cream.
