Hot Beef Sandwiches

5 lb. rump roast
1 envelope onion soup mix
2 t. sugar
1 t. oregano
2 10 1/2 oz. cans condensed beef broth
1 12 oz. can beer
2 garlic cloves, minced

Mix all together in 4 qt. slow cooker and cook on low 9 hours. Slice or shred beef. Serve on baguettes. Serves 16
