Oreo Truffles

1 lb. 2 oz. package Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies, divided
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. baker's semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
Crush 9 cookies in food processor and save for later use.
Crush remaining 36 cookies in medium bowl. Add cream cheese and mix until blended.
Roll into 40 balls and dip in chocolate.
Place on wax paper and sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies.
Refrigerate.
Makes 3.5 dozen
