Taco Bake

1 pkg. (14 oz) Kraft deluxe macaroni and cheese dinner
1 lb ground beef
1 pkg. Taco seasoning mix
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. Sour cream
1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese
1 c. salsa
Prepare mac and cheese dinner as directed. Brown meat, add taco seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir sour cream into mac and cheese and spoon half into 9” baking dish. Top with meat, 1c. cheese, and remaining mac and cheese dinner. Cover and bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Top with salsa and 1/2c. cheese. Bake 5 minutes uncovered. Can add crushed tortilla chips to top for extra crunch.
