Sauce:

1 onion, chopped
2 T. oil
12 oz. tomato paste
1 heaping t. sugar
salt and pepper
Basil
Saute onion in oil; add tomato paste and seasonings. Thin with a little water. Cook down on simmer for 2 hours.

Meatballs:

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. Romano cheese
3 eggs
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Parsley, chopped
salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients well and form meatballs. Brown lightly in skillet to seal, then drop in sauce to complete cooking. Cook for at least 1 hour. Serve with spaghetti and top with Romano cheese.
