Blissful Bread Pudding

- 10 cups torn day-old French bread, dinner rolls, or croissant
- 3 cups whole milk, cream, half and half or any combination of the three
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 pinch salt
Spray a 9 x 12 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl mix milk, butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the bread and mix to coat. Pour into baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Cool slightly and serve topped with vanilla ice cream or sauce of your choice.
