Linguine Carbonara

2 tbs olive oil
4 tbs butter
1/4 lb sliced bacon, cut into bits
4 cloves garlic
fresh ground black pepper
3 eggs
1/2 - 1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parm cheese
1/2 tsp salt
heat oil and butter over moderate heat, add the bacon and cook until brown. Add the garlic and pepper.
Mix the eggs, cheese and salt together
Cook linguine until done and drain pasta. Add it to the egg cheese mixture and toss quickly. Pour the bacon mixture over the linguine. Add fresh parsley and toss until mixed.
