caramel crispix (microwave)

Liberally spray inside of brown paper bag with PAM.

Place 10 oz nuts of choice and 12 oz box of Crispix cereal in bag.

In Sauce pan, combine:
1 cup butter (Not marg)
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 1/2 cup brown sugar

Bring to rolling boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1/2 tsp baking soda. Pour over cereal and nuts and vigorously shake. Make sure all pieces are coated. If using hands, be sure to wear rubber gloves to avoid being burned. Fold over bag and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and shake vigorously. Fold bag and again microwave on high for 2 minutes. Cool on cookie sheets lined with wax paper. Break into pieces.
