Sliced Garlic Potatoes

Every time my son-in-law makes these for a group they beg for the recipe. Don't go too heavily with the garlic, should have a delicate flavor.

Serves 3-4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour or until tender


6 meduium russet poatoes
garlic salt (don't be too heavy-handed)
1/2 pint cream

Peel potatoes and slice thinly.

Layer potato slices in a Dutch Oven. Sprinkle some of the garlic salt on top of each layer.

Pour cream over all, cover and cook over medium heat for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

*do not stir while cooking.
