Triple Chocolate Brownie Pie

1 pouch brownie mix (the size for an 8x8 pan)
1 cup chocolate chips (semi sweet or sweet)
1 cup chopped nuts, optional
1 unbaked pie crust (regular size, not deep dish)

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Spoon into unbaked pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce for third layer of chocolate.
