APPLE-SMOKED PORK CHOPS

1 (15-oz) can applesauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp seasoned pepper
6 (6-oz) pork chops

Pour mixture of applesauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder and seasoned pepper over pork chops in sealable plastic bag; seal. Marinate in refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours, turning occasionally. Drain, reserving marinade.

Grill pork chops over medium-hot coals until cooked through, turning and basting with reserved marinade frequently. Serves 6
