Moist Peach Streusel Cake

1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter - softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup yogurt
2 cups frozen peaches - defrosted, sliced in half if too thick
Streusel topping
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stick butter - softened
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8 inch spring form pan. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Blend in each egg, one at a time. Blend in the extracts, as well. Incorporate the yogurt and reserved dry ingredients alternatively until blended. Try not to over mix. Spoon the batter into the prepared spring form pan and spread out evenly. In a circular direction, place the peaches gently into the batter.
In a small bowl, combine the streusel ingredients with a fork until combined. Sprinkle evenly over top of the peaches. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 - 50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
