Shelly's Recipe

VEGETABLE SALAD

Dressing
1 cup sugar and vinegar
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tsp celery salt and salt

Vegetables
1/2 cup broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, diced green bell pepper, carrots and quartered mushrooms
1/4 cup sliced cucumber and chopped onion
1 head red cabbage

In a saucepan, combine dressing ingredients. Bring to a boil, let cool for 30 minutes. In another saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, blanch broccoli, cauliflower, pepper and carrots for 1 minute. Let cool. In a salad bowl, mix all vegetables and pour dressing over salad. Serve. Serves 8
