BEEF AND NOODLE SKILLET

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
1 cup frozen corn and sliced green onions
1 cup water
1/2 cup salsa
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef with next 2 ingredients. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer 10-12 minutes or noodles are desired doneness, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4
