BROCCOLI AU GRATIN

1 1/2 cup hot medium white sauce
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp nutmeg
12 oz chopped, cooked broccoli
1/3 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Stir the cheese into the white sauce, stirring until melted and smooth. Add the nutmeg and mix well. Place broccoli in the prepared dish and pour the sauce over the top.

In a skillet, melt the butter and add the breadcrumbs and cook until golden brown. Sprinkle on top of the casserole and bake for 15-20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
