BARBECUED SWEDISH MEATBALLS

Meatballs
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup bread crumbs and white wine
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp allspice and nutmeg
Sauce
1 (10 oz) jar currant jelly
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup white cooking wine
Combine meatball ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a jelly-roll pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until brown.
Meanwhile, make sauce by combining ingredients in a saucepan; mix well. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Add meatballs. Place meatballs in sauce to keep warm in a chafing dish. Serve with toothpicks. Serves 6-8
