BARBECUED SHRIMP II

Category: Seafood

2 lbs large shrimp, deveined and peeled with tail on

Sauce
1/2 cup Italian dressing
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp grated parmesan cheese and Cajun or season-all seasonings
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp soy sauce and ketchup
1 tsp vermouth, white wine or beer

In a saucepan on medium heat, combine sauce ingredients, blending well. When it starts to bubble, add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side. Turn and cook the other sides for 2-3 minutes. When they start to firm, they are done. Serve with hot French bread. NOTE: If the sauce becomes to thick, add some more beer to thin to original consistency. COOKING

VARIATIONS: Bake: 350 for 20 minutes. Grill: Cook in skillet and place on cooler section of grill for about 20 minutes. Watch sauce for drying out, add a little beer to regain consistency. Serves 4-6
