BACON AND SCALLOPS

1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground white pepper and garlic powder
21 sea scallops
1 beaten egg
1 cup milk
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 lb bacon
Dredge scallops in a mixture of first 4 ingredients. Combine beaten eggs and milk. Dip coated scallops in egg mixture and coat with bread crumbs. Wrap each scallop with 1/2 slice of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Bake at 400 until bacon is crisp, about 25 minutes. After 15 minutes cooking, turn scallops for remaining cooking time. Serve hot.
